Re: How does the apple2 RGB card work?

For years I've considered the idea of hacking an Apple Colour Composite
display to provide an RGB 'input' by feeding analog RGB signals
directly to the amplifier board in the monitor, and leaving the
composite input connected to provide 'sync', but my knowledge of video
electronics is rather limited, and I'm not sure if this approach would
work. It seems fine in theory though, and would actually give me the
exact setup I've always wished for.
