Colours look OK, although there is a slight interference pattern visible in them. The picture also doesn't lock perfectly, and has a small vertical shake of about a half line. 80-column text is legible but a bit fuzzy. Even though it's a 20-inch screen the dot pitch is too large to possibly display 80-column text well.
To put this into perspective: the TV is a 20-inch CRT model made in China about 12 years ago and sold in a store called The Warehouse. It isn't the highest quality :o)
I have tried the IIGS on a better TV with SCART and the same size screen and it produced a much better picture. There was no real interference pattern, the picture locked perfectly, and the dot pitch was high enough to produce text as sharp as on an old colour monitor.
