No man, don't kid yourself. You're just getting old and are having trouble
keeping up with all the new developments in the computer business.

Even if Apple would have made the Mac along the lines of the II series, it
would have still been too complex to tinker with in the way you did with the
II.

The first 68xxx Mac's could still be tinkered with like you could with the
Amiga. At least I could. But the PowerPC processor was already becoming too
hard to play with. The processor was just getting too complex, and so did
the Operating System.

Progress has it's price. More power comes at a price. Deal with it. On an
Apple II or III you simply can't do the things you can do with a Mac.
