The SwyftCard should work even without the 80COL/64K Card. But my Apple //e-SwyftCard combination seems to work but has no reasonable display (e.g. if I press 'A' the 'A' shows multiple times, inverse characters are shown, ...). The SwyftCard manual says something about Rev A //e doesnt work and to upgrade to RevB.
