Indeed - there is a lot of mis-information (I just hope that I do not
repeat too much of it).

For example, on
http://www.inetdaemon.com/tutorials/wan/serial/eia/eia232.shtml it
states that PS/2 keyboard and mouse sockets use EIA232 which came as a
surprise to me - I thought they were TTL with +5V to GND voltage
range...

I have used DEC VT52/VT100/VT220 terminals and they all used male DB-25
as far as I remember.
