Pray it's not a heat sensitive GAL on the card... Could be a number of things. Potentially the power supply in the IIe itself providing noisy power under load? Other than that, arm yourselves with a can of freezer spray. If there's a heat sensitive component on the card it'll show up pretty quickly with a shot of that stuff
