Anyone know where I can get a replacement cable or even just the 16 pin

Hopefully in the Toronto Area..

That sort of thing can be annoying. Better damaged through use than
collecting dust as an artifact. :)

If you want a new cable you'll probably have to make it. Fortunately
IIRC, it's just 16 conductor IDC ribbon cable and plugs. I don't know
if you can get those parts from Rat Shack but a mail order electronics
outfit like Jamemco or Digikey should certainly stock them.

If you're lazy and just broke a pin off one of the plugs, you can
solder a jumper wire to the stub and place the other end in the socket.
It needs to make good contact with the wiper in the socket though.

And they used to stock made-up cables with 16-pin DIP headers on each
end, in various lengths. Check around.

If you do wind up making your own, don't forget to use an old socket
on the plug as you "crimp" it in a vise or whatever, to protect the
pins.
