I'll try to dig out the Zram Ultra manual to see about non-volitile memory. Has anyone here done anything similar?
I think he was pulling your leg--making DRAM "non-volatile" means keeping it powered up and refreshing. And there are no "drop-in" static RAMs to make it easier. The only non-volatile RAM in the ZRAM Ultra is the time and date memory in the real-time clock. ;-) -michael Music synthesis for 8-bit Apple II's!
