People still use analogue recording equipment?

I remember using a standard (consumer-grade) SVHS vcr in '90 or so and
the color information was perfectly intact.  Of course, the nature of
my cheap tape caused the colors to bleed a little bit and the overall
clarity was reduced, but when played back the color information was
there.

Why would you want to use an apple // with professional recording
equipment, out of curiosity?  Is it going to be featured in a
Terminator or Batman sequel again? ;-)  Perhaps a remake of the 1985
movie "Explorers"?  (anyone remember the prominent usage of a //c?)
