Hi,
I'm about to set on cleaning and setting up an Apple //e that I've been
gathering parts for tonight. I was going to use an Apple 5.25 drive
card and a set of apple 5.25 drives(the kind that would work on the
IIgs smartport) but I just found a duodisk drive for $1 with cable
today and I was wondering, do I need a special card for it or will it
work with the same card as the single 5.25 drives?
I'm also guessing that given how dirty it is externally(or was.. I just
cleaned it up) that I will have to clean it up.. I have a cleaning
diskette here somewhere but I really have no idea as to where that
somewhere is(small room but it's apsolutly as loaded as it can get) so
I'm just wondering, if I'm very carefull would it be ok to clean with a
q-tip and alcohol or should I apsolutely just scour this place for my
cleaning diskette and not take a chance on this?
