I'm the opposite. I was (and still continued to be) a huge Apple IIGS fan
and picked up an Amiga in recent years but never really did much with it.
Part of that reason is it's missing the internal 3.5 floppy drive. :)
The IIGS is rather like Apple's version of the Amiga, so in that respect
there's several decent games for it, music programs and even demos
(the two demo scene groups worth looking at are FTA and Ninjaforce).

Definitely check out Zany Golf, The Immortal, Rastan, Task Force,
Out of This World, Wolfenstein 3D, Super Mario Bros (and if you've
ever played the Amiga ports, Rocket Ranger, Thexder and Zany Golf
are worth checking out just for the music alone, to name a few).
