I read one time that the Apple II series does something funny with the
video signal to generate color, but can't seem to remember what it was
or find a website describing the trick in detail. But I was just
wondering if there is anyway to get clear video on a Composite or
S-video monitor from an Apple IIgs? I have a Commodore 1084 monitor
which I made a cable for a year ago that hooks into the RGB port and
delivers clear video, but that monitor is starting to go out (It is 20
years old, after all) I don't really want to buy a new (or should I
say used) RGB monitor. So are there any other options?
