	Nonsense. I have to agree with Scott. Guess what machine I'm posting from
right now? An AMD running Linux. GCC is part of the installed packages. I
compiled video players, P2P, games, etc. with GCC. Given Linux is usually
the first unofficial port to any device, it wouldn't be a big task to port
it to an AMD Mac if one ever comes out. 

	FYI, Linux was ported to the new Macs before M$. I think it was out and
functional within a week of the betas.

	Also, this is a group for Apple// machines not Macs. The OP didn't catch
on to this either. Apple// computers pre-date Macs and are a completely
different line.

	Furthermore, reading news from Google groups is OK but there are some
significant problems. Namely the dates. I've pressed the issue a number of
times and it seems people reading/posting from Google can't see the date
properly on the original post. In fact the original post of this thread is
more than six months old (I think).

	Getting back to your post... I hear rumours Jobs may be looking for a job
with Intel some time in the future. Since he has one with Disney
already... Could we say he's going from one "Mickey Mouse" organisation to
another? ;-)
