I always felt Zany Golf was THE shining example of what all Apple IIGS
games could have, and should have been like. Needless to say I was
fairly disappointed by all the effortless ports of games that simply ripped
Commodore 64 or IBM EGA graphics (usually with lackluster sound and
sluggish speed to accompany them).

Developers like Will Harvey, Brian Greenstone, John Brooks, Steve
Chiang, Scott Patterson, John Lund, Ryan Ridges, Bill Heineman, FTA,
Ninaforce, Brutal Deluxe were all too rare, unfortunately.
