A copyright around LemminGS can't exist because the game itselt is
coprighted by DMA Design / Psygnosis (now own by Sony).
We have made an Apple IIgs version because they were not ready to do it.
We have asked their permission, but we have never received any answer.
In the good side, we can say that LemminGS is a homebrew version. In the
bad one, we can say that this has been done without any licence. So, it's
illegal.
I think Psygnosis didn't care because they had never done anything on
the IIgs market. So, hopefuly for all of us we did it, and they didn't say
anything about it.
LemminGS was fun to program, even if it was time consumming (8 months).
So enjoy it. I hope to publish the source code one day (as soon as I
could get them from IIgs my hard drive).
