Ages ago we decided to order an Advanced Gravis ADB Mousestick for the IIGS. When I read your post, I remembered that Advanced Gravis was having some trouble finding someone to do the IIGS work.
So I dug up the Mousestick to read the manual. In a nutshell, it emulates a mouse.
The scary bit is where you had to tell the Mousestick which platform (IIGS or Mac) it was being used on.
However, I think the IIGS Mousestick is IIGS only (the box lists Macs, but that has been blacked out).
