on 40X24 and 80X24 text modes (use winDOS fonts?)
5)user defineable resolution and color depth
6)user defineable "RAM to display" (bank#(s), memory location(s))

Gee, and here I was just lamenting the lack of exploitation of the
great graphic modes already available using a VOC--and VOCs are
not really "rare", either.
