The IIgs control panel only shows a two digit year, but its supported
range of years is something like 1940 to 2039.
I'd have to hunt through old documentation to confirm the precise date -
that was from memory. I recall it being something obscure which
different from both the "start dates" used on 68K Mac models (1904 and
1956) but it also starts from a leap year.
If in doubt, find an independent reference or calculator for days of the
week over a wide range of years, and check the day of week displayed by
the IIgs when it is set to various years.
