2c transfers are fairly easy depending on the 2c in use. If the only medium you have is 5.25 floppy disks then you may be stuck with ADT. If the archives are small, you can use most terminal programs and transfer the files via serial line. Put what you can on a floppy then use whichever extraction program required once the disk is on the a2 floppy. IMHO, one of the best methods is to use CiderPress to build the floppy images as required then send them to the 2c via ADT.

If the 2c is enhanced with extra ram or a 3.5" floppy disk, transfers get a little easier as you would have room to manipulate the archives as needed after transferal. My 2c+ is an excellent example. It has 1mb ram, 2 3.5" floppies and 2 5.25" floppies to connect as needed. The transfer rate may be slower than other transport options but I rather like the serial method because I've used it since the late 80's.

Now, if you bring the 2gs into the picture and depending on it's hardware capabilities you could transfer directly from the PC to a GS at a fairly decent speed. This allows you create the disks for the 2c on the GS. I'm pretty sure you can get a GS serial cable from someone here.
