It's a parallel printer interface card. Printers are hooked up to the
Apple via either a parallel or serial interface. Usually the printers
were manufactured as just one or the other, for example an Epson MX-80
had a parallel interface, the Apple ImageWriter 1 has a serial
interface. You can drive a serial printer via your SSC (Super Serial
Card) ... there is a jumper block on it which points to 'Terminal' or
'Printer'. The 'Terminal' setting is for interfacing with other
computers, e.g. to a PC via a serial cable to its COM1: port.
