Okay, I'm getting nowhere fast. :-(
I installed just about everything I could find from my 6.0.1 disks on my
Rom 03 GS to enable Appletalk (and use a Mac Classic II as a file server)
and still all I get is a black screen at bootup telling me:
"Appleshare.FST requires Appleshare. Please enable Appletalk in the
Control Panel, and install Appleshare on the boot disk and restart
system."
The only think I see about Appletalk in the Control Panel is in Slots and
I have Slot 1 set to Appletalk. The Appleshare control panel won't even
open but gives me an error meesaage about needing to install it first.
I have all the Control Panels, Drivers, DeskAccs and FSTs that i could
find on the 6.0.1 disks installed but still no deal.
What's going on?
Thanks.
