Hi,

for years now I am looking for a SWIM chip to replace the fryed one on a 
PCTransporter. As I don't found a source for buying one I found out that Mac 
IIv computers also have a SWIM chip onboard, but in a newer revision. Can 
anyone confirm if I could use the Mac's SWIM IC as replacement for the PCT?

PCT SWIM IC:

Both are 44 pin PLCC packaging.
