I don't want an apple II on an FPGA, I want something
fast with apple II video, i/o... yes, I have an application
and I'm willing to pay for it.

So, you want to plug an ARM emulating a 6502 into an Apple
processor socket?

A 6502 core on an FPGA should be able to outperform the ARM
emulation, and meet all the hardware interfaces.
