Gee. Yet another Apple II vs Commodore 64 thread.
Let me repeat what I said back in September:

You have to keep a historical perspective.
The Apple II was released in August 1977.
The Commodore 64 was introduced around August
1982, FIVE YEARS LATER. Plus, Commodore was
a chip manufacturer, so it could make the
special sound and graphics chips the C64 had.
It would only have been surprising if the C64
did NOT have better sound and graphics than
the Apple II.
The Pet 2001 is the Commodore computer that
you can fairly compare against the Apple II
since the Apple II and the Pet were introduced
in the same year. Otherwise, I am going to
have to compare the C64 against the Apple IIgs
which was introduced four years after the C64.
