Reading Apple Mac Documents on a PC

I have transferred the contents on an old Apple Mac HDD to a PC using
TransMac. I now have a number of documents without extensions (.*)
which I need to read on a PC. I am not entirely sure which Word
Processor would have created these documents. So I am looking for a
utility for the PC that has very good Apple Mac document support.

I have had a good search of the web and can easily locate software to
view and edit PC Document Formats on the Apple Mac but not reversed.
The closest I could find is a package call Claris for the PC, but this
is also hard to find.

I am trying to avoid gathering the text out of the 100+ files and
reformatting the text. I don't know if this helps anyone but I include
the header of one of these files:
