Hello all,
I just managed to ruin my II+ keyboard by spilling water over it, then
trying to dry it in a stove at lowest setting - seems like the
thermostat isn't too good since now the keyswitches all get more or less
stuck when you depress them, they seem to have ever so slightly lost
shape in the heat, though it isn't very visible from the outside.
Therefore, I'd like to buy either a full set of 52 or more keyswitches
or a II/II+ keyboard off some broken-down machine. I have working
keycaps, power light, encoder board, keyboard backplane, and
keyboard-motherboard cable. So if you have a keyboard where one or more
of these components is broken, but which has all 52 keyswitches working,
I'd like to take it off you.
The II+, unlike the later models, doesn't have localized keyboards, so
it shouldn't matter where in the world you're located.
I'm located in Germany. Of course I'd pay for shipping, including
overseas. I can pay you through PayPal (you don't need to be able to
handle credit cards throgh PayPal), or mail you cash in most common
currencies. Of course if you're in Germany as well, I can also pay
through bank transfer.
Make me an offer. You can answer here or to my (unmangled) email
address: ticmanis@gmx.de
Thanks for any offers,
