Starting up an IRC channel dedicated to retrogaming

I'm thinking of trying to start an IRC channel devoted to topics related 
to playing those classic videogames on the old 8-bit computers and 
consoles.

If anyone wants to drop by, the channel is "#8" on irc.blitzed.org.

I couldn't think of any other apropos groups and don't really like 
crossposting and multiposting anyway.  It's just me right now but maybe 
there's some interest in it?
