I'm working on a database to categorize my Apple II stuff in part to
pare down the collection over time and allow me to see what I have,
what I have duplicates of, and keep track of where it's stashed, etc.
I've run up against some walls in FileMaker 8.
Can FileMaker do clairvoyant lookup, live- dare I say it, Spotlight
-like, and have the data viewed in a portal within the current layout?
Clicking a 'view' button in the same portal would then bring that
record into full view.
I also have four pictures and would like to switch the view much like
eBay views multiple using iPix.
