In my Apple IIgs I put my SCSI card (with HD) in slot 2, while I left
slot 5 empty (for 3.5") and put my 5.25" disk controller card in slot 6
(for maximum compatibilty). Ideally upon start up the IIgs should
check the 5.25" drive, then the 3.5 drive", then go to the hard drive
(6>5>2). However it never seems to get down to the HD. When I tell
the IIgs to boot directly from slot 2 it works, so the drive isn't bad.
Since I'm still setting everything up I don't have the actual 3.5" and
5.25" drives hooked up yet (just the cards and the HD), could this be
the problem? Seems like a long shot, but I've seen stranger things.
