8 Bit Baby

If anyone is getting a 8 Bit Baby, http://www.8bitbaby.com - I found a
really cheap Altera ByteblasterMV cable clone for $29 (called the
MF1500), instead of the $150 that Altera charges. Of course you might
be able to build one cheaper than that, but I'd rather spend time
working on Apple II stuff. They also have a $65 Byteblaster II
knockoff called the MF160, but the ByteblasterMV clone is more than
adequate for Apple II CPLD design. You only need the MF160 if you're
going to be using 1.8v components vs 3.3v-5v. Or if you'll be sticking
an entire GS onto a Stratix II FPGA, but in that case you probably
don't need to be reading this message.

The cable is found at http://www.minford.ca/html/products.html
