Regarding hard-to-find keyboards;
Not that I'm encouraging you to throw away a perfectly good Apple II in
favor of something else, but you COULD just get a IIGS and use it like
an 8-bit Apple II. These use ADB keyboards, of course, which is a
commodity in ABUNDANT supply on ebay...
