I thought they never released Mario Bros. for the Apple, and had to be
ported over from the Commodore by some enterprising Apple fanatics?
It doesn't look like a port of Atari's C64 version, and also I don't think a fan port would say Atarisoft on it. 

The common version out there is a crack by the 202 Alliance.
Also, the game *looks* like an Atarisoft game (look at Galaxian and Ms. Pac-Man).
