I thought that by using FDHD's, the Apple II could use, well, what I've seen as "PC Floppies."
This led me to believe that one could take a High Density disk formatted in a PC, and read it on the Apple II, and vice versa. If this is true, I'd love it if someone could tell me how.

You absolutely can... so long as it is DOS and not windows extended filename format. As soon as you put a long file name on the disk, it will no longer read in an A2as a DOS disk. Reformat and recopy the files using 8.3 names only.

Of course you must also have the appropriate FST installed in GSOS otherwise all you will get is ProDos availability on the 1.44M disks.

I have no idea what a ProDOS formatted HD floppy will look like to a Mac. I'll probably have an SE/30 or Classic II by January, so I can tell you then.

Yes, your Mac will deal with ProDOS 1.44 floppy disks fine as long as you have the ProDOS capability installed. Personally I only use them as DOS disks as it makes it easier to 'know' what they are.

Thankx for the update,
