I've shared two Apple IIs on a single monitor. The Magnavox RGB monitor
that A2 Central sold 10 years ago had a switch to select between RGB
and composite inputs. You could do something similar with a modern
flat-screen that allowed you to switch between multiple inputs (e.g.
my Dell 2001FP can switch between composite and S-Video).
Another option: get a wide-screen monitor that supports PIP, and display
the two outputs side-by-side.
