Exactly.  (However, I misspoke in saying that each 46 cycle pulse
would span two 23-cycle sample intervals.  That happens only in the
case of exact alignment.  In the general case, each pulse is at least
partly in three 23-cycle intervals, and shares one of them with the
adjacent 46-cycle pulse.  Still no problem, on the average.

Oops.

After viewing Linards .wav recording, and after thinking a bit
more clearly (!), it is obvious that a cycle of 6 to 37 cycles
duration cannot span more than two 23-cycle samples!  ;-)

A DAC522 speaker pulse spans exactly one or two samples, and
their sum is always equal to the length of the pulse (after
any sample multiplier is taken into account).
