Oops. After viewing Linards .wav recording, and after thinking a bit more clearly (!), it is obvious that a cycle of 6 to 37 cycles duration cannot span more than two 23-cycle samples! ;-) A DAC522 speaker pulse spans exactly one or two samples, and their sum is always equal to the length of the pulse (after any sample multiplier is taken into account). -michael Music synthesis for 8-bit Apple II's!
