Re: Looking for "Ultima II" .nib images
Like Andy mentions, most of these old games only need
a bit of patching to work as .nib images.
In fact I cracked Borg when I was a young'n too.
It uses 4+4 encoded 10 sector tracks - common for Sirius -
which resulted in the screaming boot times.
The only tricky part is that it uses half tracks.
Mabye sync or counts too. But ... I am not afraid. ;-)

The lists of bit-copier parameters should provide the info.
And most of the Computist mags are online now.

Well it's not for the stunning game-play of Borg! ;-)
Really, like Linards said; it's a drive to preserve better.
There were good excuses back in the day to make
sacrifices to get something COPYAble. But now, with
.nib we can preserve things much better. In fact I might
play with extending 2img for a better .nib format.
And Linards ... get scanning! I plan to do the same.
The market for the real books will always be there -
for those who make their pocket money on ebay.
But the info wants to be free. Spread the love.
Cheers,
Nick.
