IIRC, AGATE does ZMODEM downloads (but not uploads).

I'd point you to Ground to download it, but it's been offline for some time
now.  I think I need to find the CD with the stuff I used to have on my BBS
and put its contents on my website.  AGATE was one of the programs I used
back in the day (its main attraction was ANSI emulation, complete with IBM
graphics implemented in DHR).
