digicard software reverse engineering progress

found a link ..think it is recent? ..or more so then some i've seen...by a
guy...mister_boffo? it is in the link below

http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:zHXGe5URHRgJ:www.apple2.org.za/mirrors/ground.icaen.uiowa.edu/MiscInfo/Misc/digicard.stuff+NETWORK+SUPPORT+DISK+%2Bdigicard+apple+ii&hl=en

the link seems to work for those having these beasts perhaps with the info
on the link there is a way to get these beasts working? (i have 3 of them
and cards etc lack mandrake software)

i was told once that it was possible to get a mandrake setup disk made in
some manner off the beast if it was actually up as a working network...the
above link seems to show how to get to the mandrake hidden directory and
find the system password..so if those out there to could check ...and if
there drive is not wiped find said system password and fire it up...maybe
someone will get lucky...once up a person maybe could figure it out easier
by pooling info

anyway i know the boxes come up often (there is one on ebay) might be nice
to use these boxes or said diginet cards for something more then display

i also heard that the setup/install software was time limited..so you might
have to experiment with turing back your apple ii clock card if you need one
on the // or whatever //e //plus to get around that

i also have a pretty complete (maybe even complete enough to get up) mastery
development setup with vhs if anyone is into that stuff..

anyway just for those interested in using these things for other then a boat
anchor
