Hallo,
I recently noticed that the Apple II serial numbers from 1985 on (or
1984?) matched the Mac sceme so one can see where and when the machine
was actually produced. (see: http://macfaq.org/serial.html for details
on the numbering system).
Can anybody help with the various model numbers Apple used for the
later IIs? I have so far:
XXXXXXX A2S2064 => Apple IIe
XXXXXXX A2S6000 => Apple IIgs Suffix "D" for German "Deutsch"
XXXXXXX A2S6100 => Apple IIgs
