The early Apple II Technical Reference Manuals (Red Book, II+ 79/81)
seem to be easy enough to find, in fact I have scans of them on my hard
drive. After all, they generally came with the purchased system. The
later manuals, for the IIe, IIc and IIgs seem harder to come by. It
doesn't help that each system had two major revisions each, so the
manual you may find would not address the later changes/improvements.
I just bought an Apple IIe Reference Manual, dated to 1985, so I'm not
sure whether it covers the enhancements in the Apple IIe design.
