Um...before flying off the handle, you might note that the object of this
exercise was to get the OP's Mac set up as a router so that his IIGS could
talk to the 'net.

That said, LocalTalk Bridge (the bit of software that connects between
LocalTalk and Ethernet) doesn't speak MacIP IIRC.  With a similar setup to
what the OP is using, I could get my GS to see a Linux server (running
netatalk) through the Mac.  I had acquired a GatorBox by the time MacIP
support was added to Marinetti, and that setup works properly for local file
access and 'net access.
