Hmmm...thats good info Michael. Wish I had known it sooner as I have
tested it on my PC and my Mac with 4 different browsers and dont get
the Japanese characters. Of course, I use Japanese machines so I am
not sure if that is why my result is different. But we will go back
and check it out.
Thanks.
You're welcome.
You may want to keep a machine with Japanese language packs not
installed so you can see the problem. Perhaps it is traceable
to this HTML line included at the top of most pages:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="ja">
Although a quick source-scan of the pages reveals a couple
of "strange" character codes, they seem completely inessential
to the content of the page--maybe they are Japanese blanks. ;-)

I checked it out with both my net-capable computers. My Linux box sees
the page fine with three web browsers. On my Mac 8500 Mozilla and IE see
it fine. Netscape 4.7X has a problem. I'm guessing it could be the
commands. I remember I used to have troubles with those characters before
upgrading to Mozilla on my Linux box. It wasn't a consistent thing as I
recall. Some pages it liked and others it didn't.
