Hmmm. It looks like I made a few changes to Comm.c because Mac OS X has
a slightly different termios structure than Linux. The original version
supported the standard UNIX serial rates including 9600, 38400, 57600,
and 115200; the user must choose at the command line or accept the
default 9600, and the serial device must support it.

Not sure what you mean here by "both ways." Apple has made changes to
the Mac OS X that often require special treatment to create binaries
which run on older versions. Also, in a relatively short time, Apple
will be coming out with Intel-based Macs, and I don't have one to try
out the code. I don't have the time to figure out the right way to make
a binary that would work out-of-the-box.

In reality, to be useful to the average Mac user, it should have a
proper GUI. I don't have the time now to make one. I expect most folks
who know where to find the command line in Mac OS X have driven a
compiler, and I hope the hints I've given will help people get through
the mild hassles the port requires.

I don't feel my code is ready to release; I see intermittent glitches
(during commands, not during transfers), and I'm worried that I've made
changes in my ADTgs code that make my version incompatible with the
standard ADT versions that are out there.

If I have time to work on this, I'm going to work to get 800k floppies
to transfer. That's just a higher priority for me than cleaning this up
for other people to use, especially because the population of ADT users
without a PC but with Mac OS X is probably pretty small.

Thanks for your interest. If the time comes when I have something I
feel is ready to let loose on the world, I'll be sure to do so.
