	There are plenty of pay servers. You can find out about free servers if
you lurk in alt.free.newsservers for a few weeks.

	Alternatively you can look at a program called Newsplex and set up a
pseudo server on another machine (I know they do PCs but I don't know if
they do Macs). From there you can grab headers from the free machines.
Posting or replies can be sent through your ISP (assuming they have
terrible nntp servers like mine). It will all be transparent to your
reader. All you have to do is to tell Newsplex where the outgoing messages
get sent.

	The cool thing is if you are running it under *NIX you can connect with
your Apple// (the topic of this group) with Contiki through your router.
Set up a telnet server, make sure you have a text news reader installed,
and boom you're in.
