Here's a somewhat different perspective on the problem.

Has anyone tried one of the newer LCD screens designed to take
composite video input with an Apple II? Like, say, the Dell UltraSharp
2001FP 20.1-Inch flat panel display? Do they have the bandwidth for
IIgs super hi-res and/or 80 column text?
