Both Castle Wolfenstein and the sequel Beyond Castle Wolfenstein had
digitized voices that said stuff like "Halt", "Das SS" and etc.
Anyone who played the original remembers perfectly, "Your caught!"
That was the original reason to put a rheostat (volume control) on my
II+ speaker. The incessant throbbing march of the guards followed by
"YOUR CAUGHT!" OR WAS IT "KAPUT"? Quality left a bit to the
imagination, but was loud at midnight and was enough to wake the dead.
The thought still makes me jump. :)
Excellent game.
Thankx,
