The problem I'm having is that I'm trying to use a Mac LC to act as an
intermediary between the PC and the GS. With this set up I can move
files from the GS to the Mac and then to the PC. But when I try to move
files in the other direction (from the PC to the Mac to the GS) the GS
won't open the files that were saved on the Mac.
The reason I'm doing this strange operation is that I'm getting files
from a friend that are WordPerfect files that I have to arrange into a
book index. I wrote a program in the only language that I know which is
UltraMacros, which of course only runs on the old Apple IIs. So, I have
to take WordPerfect files from the PC to the GS, run it through the
UltraMacros program, and then take it back to WordPerfect on the PC. So
far the only sticking point left is from the Mac to the GS.
