If it makes a difference, i can read/write 800k disks on my Mac SE/30
and get data into that computer via a SCSI ZIP drive.
Use the Mac to make the disks for you. See the FAQ's for much more info. You can get the GSOS disk images from the Apple website among other places. Alternately, someone here might make you copies.
You can also use an emulator and Shrinkit (8 bit version) to make archives of your 800k images for transfer, usually via serial connection. You will need a disk (HD or ram-disk) large enough to hold the transferred file. After transfer, use Shrinkit (8 bit version) on the GS to extract the image to a 3.5" floppy. This won't help with making the boot disks but I thought I'd mention it anyhow.
