The games you seek are the Scott Adams text adventures, and yes they are on the Asimov archive under adventure. The two you specifically refer to are Pyramid of Doom and The Count. I spent a lot of time on these in the 80's too, though the only one I ever actually solved with no hints was Strange Oddysey (well my brother did anyway...)

I remember one being about going under a pyramid or the sphinx, and one of the other ones was about a vampire and being stuck in a castle (maye with a move time limit). The disk I had at the time had Microsoft labelling on it. Just wondering what this was called, and if it is located on asimov? If not could anybody send me a .dsk image?
