Re: Contiki DHCP Problem

I got around to downloading Contiki today after getting ADT to work.
Now I finally have a chance to give my Uther Ethernet card a while.
However when I run the DHCP program and request an address, it never
gets one. It will just sit there 'requesting' until I turn it off.

I'm starting to wonder if my router might be the problem. Currently I
have the ethernet cable going into a router and then my cable modem.
Can anyone suggest some things I can look for to figure out why this
isn't working. I just made sure the card was seated properly, so I
know that isn't it.

Tempest,

Double check that the slot in the config matches the slot you have the card in. Make sure if your using a IIgs that the slot is set to your card if in a slot other than 3.

If that still isn't working then set a static IP address in the config to make sure the card is working properly in your system. See the contiki user guide for details.

If you still stuck then please post some more details about your configuration.
